Anime Prom 2010 was a wild experience. The library had to limit to 100 participants- most of them looked like teens. There were lights and J-pop music and sushi and lots of costumes. The best part was watching the teens interact with one another. Though they didn't know each other personally, they knew their characters. Some would actually run up and hug a new 'character' as he/she entered the room or cheer the character's name. There was no animosity, just a bunch of fans joined by that one simple commonality. Uber Cool!
