This is a place for You to express your ideas about books, movies, music, magazines, games, writing- if it's found in the library, it's fair game. Also, let me know your ideas for the library here in Lagrange or any of the branches.

NaNoWriMo- National Novel Writing Month
I should have blogged on this last week, but didn't (I'll blame it on the pain meds). Anyway, November is National Novel Writing Month. Aspiring authors are challenged to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days! Don't let that word count scare you. If you're 17 or under you can set your own word count. This program is all about you meeting your own goal. To get more info check out http://ywp.nanowrimo.org/. Since you'd be starting late you may want to set a smaller word count. This is a great way to get yourself writing instead of just keeping all your great ideas in your head. Let me know if you take up the challenge. If you start today you'd need app 2200 words per day to reach the goal of 50,000. If you set your own goal at 25,000, you'd only need 1100 words per day- and you have Thanksgiving Break in there:)
